Exciting news for families in the Lehigh Valley! Children’s Art Classes (CAC) — a nationally recognized, curriculum-based children’s art program — is coming soon to The Shops at Cedar Point, 327 S. Cedar Crest Blvd in Allentown, PA! While the studio is still preparing to open its doors, registration is now open for its inaugural kids' art classes, and spots are filling fast.
At CAC, art is more than just a pastime — it’s a path to confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Their tagline says it best: “Art: The First Language.” Each class is designed to help children explore over 40 types of art, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and design. Kids will have the chance to experiment, discover their passions, and develop real artistic skills through structured, year-round programs.
Owners Peter and Andrea, proud parents of seven and grandparents of one, are thrilled to bring the first CAC in Pennsylvania to Allentown. Their journey began when they saw how art helped their own daughter build confidence and find her voice. With Andrea’s background as a licensed mental health professional and Peter’s experience as a Marine Corps veteran, youth mentor, and lifelong art enthusiast, they are passionate about creating a welcoming space for children to learn, create, and thrive.
CAC offers programs for children of all ages and skill levels, including homeschool and co-op programs, summer workshops, and birthday parties. Their curriculum-based classes ensure that no project ever repeats, keeping young artists engaged and inspired throughout the school year.
